How this estimate works

Pick the meter that matches the endpoint

Mistral publishes separate prices for generalist text, cached input, embeddings, OCR pages, transcription minutes, generated characters and voice-agent minutes. Groq publishes per-million-token rates for supported production models and per-hour prices for Whisper transcription. This calculator keeps those units in their own tool modes.

Separate public rates from quote-only models

Some Groq model rates are listed as Contact Sales. No guessed rate is assigned to those options. If a model, region or contract price is not publicly stated, enter a value from your account or treat it as quote-required rather than using zero.

Frequently asked questions

Can I compare Mistral and Groq with a single per-token rate?

Only for compatible text-token workload records. OCR, audio, embeddings and voice use other units and should be compared in their corresponding calculator mode.

Does the Groq model list show all production prices?

No. Some production models are Contact Sales. The tool only shows records for which the source page lists a public rate.

Are transcription prices per minute or per hour?

The source units differ by product. The calculator converts input quantity using each record’s explicitly shown unit and keeps the original price basis visible.

Is there a custom-rate option?

Yes. Use custom values when your agreement, region or selected service has a different rate.
